Not a curriculum. Not a brand. Just what actually worked for us.
We’re Sven’s parents, based in Cagayan de Oro. Both of us come from Computer Science backgrounds and have spent years in higher education as researchers, faculty members, and IT professionals. Before Sven came along, we were already running edtech workshops with kits like Makeblock, LEGO, and MakeyMakey, and we were founding members of Robogals CDO, the local chapter of a non-profit originally established in Australia to bring tech education to underrepresented communities.
When Sven was born, we shifted focus. The workshops stopped, but the hands-on approach didn’t. We started applying what we knew and what we were learning directly at home. We documented the activities, the materials, and the concepts. Some were structured, most weren’t. What guided us was watching how Sven responded.
By the time he sat for his Kindergarten admission interview, he could already recognize words, tinker with confidence, and work through problems on his own. What he showed at that interview wasn’t the goal. It was just what happened when we stayed consistent.
This site is that record.
